Lisa C. Scranton, MS, RDN, LD

Lisa is a specialist in food and nutrition therapies for chronic illness. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Purdue University and Master’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition at Michigan State University. Lisa spent 20 years working with clients and teaching about food and nutrition before facing her own health crisis.  Autoimmune disease and gut pain inspired her re-education in basic biochemistry and functional nutrition. Motivated by her renewed health, in 2018 Lisa became an IFN Certified Practitioner through the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy.

Lisa is passionate about working with clients who are experiencing chronic illness, gut problems, food sensitivities, and autoimmune disease. She knows from her own life experience and training how our complex bodies are impacted–for better or for worse–by every bite of food we put in our mouths and by the way we respond to and interact with the world around us. Lisa deeply understands that food-real, whole, nutrient-dense food-is the foundation of abundant health.
